We love supporting the Townie Bicycle. When we can support group rides–like townie takeovers– AND a great organization at the same time….WHOA!
We get excited!
We get excited!
Check this out, May 26th starting at 10:00am in Downtown Gunnison, Colorado is the Gunnison Partners Townie Takeover. This event has people riding townies while supporting local youth mentoring!
What a great family event for everyone of all ages.
In conjunction with the Growler and Gran Fondo weekend, friends and families can join the take over. This five hour event will have riders spin from downtown Gunnison, head to the top of Western’s Campus and back down to the party area before spinning another lap. Each lap is about 1.5 miles long with plenty of entertainment along the way.
There is nothing better than riding a townie on a beautiful day, especially when you get to ride with friends. The only way it can possibly get better is if you complete the trifecta and ride to support great organizations.
The Gunnison Partners Townie Takeover has it all!
Riders are encouraged to gain pledges (your $12 pre registration donation, $20 the day of the ride, will be waived with $50 of pledges). You can gain pledges for each lap you complete and the game is on!
Riders can wear costumes, win prizes, pedal around to music, and munch on snacks; it’s all about fun! Check out the Gunnison Partners webpage, RIGHT HERE, to learn more about the Townie Takeover on May 26th!
Your $12 pre registration supports youth mentoring in Gunnison Colorado and it gets you an incredibly fun afternoon of pedaling the streets of Gunnison and around the campus of Western State Colorado University. So get on your townie and pedal for the cause.
Does it get any better? We don’t think so.
